Alleged Intruder Shot By Armed And Alert Phoenix Homeowner

PHOENIX, ARIZONA — On Thursday night, a 24-year-old man named Isaiah Roggenbuck was apprehended by Phoenix police following an attempted break-in at a residence. The incident occurred around 8 p.m. near 7th Avenue and Lynwood Street, south of McDowell Road.

The homeowner shot Roggenbuck during the attempted intrusion. Despite being injured, Roggenbuck fled the scene but was later located near a marijuana dispensary on McDowell Road. He received medical treatment before being discharged and subsequently detained.

Roggenbuck is now in Maricopa County jail, facing a charge of criminal trespassing. The homeowner involved in the incident was unharmed.

Authorities are conducting further investigations into the matter.
