LEWISTON, MAINE — Following the tragic Lewiston mass shooting, Michael Bowden, an 18-year-old from Etna, Maine, faces charges of terrorizing and aggravated reckless conduct. Somerset County Sheriff’s Office reports that Bowden, a former employee of the Palmyra Walmart, was arrested after posting a Snapchat photo of himself with a gun and ammunition, captioned “Lewiston part 2.”

He was known to frequent the Walmart parking lot, even after his 2021 termination.

Arrested at his home, Bowden was found with a Savage bolt action hunting rifle, the same featured in his post, which was confiscated.

He has since been released from the Somerset County Jail on $10,000 cash bail.
