18-Year-Old Burglary Suspect Shot By Homeowner While Climbing Ladder Outside Home

FRISCO, TEXAS — An 18-year-old, Clinton Montgomery from North Richland Hills, was shot and injured by a homeowner during an attempted burglary, as reported by the Frisco Police Department. The incident occurred on Sunday, November 26, 2023, around 8 p.m. in the 10400-block of Belfort Drive, Frisco.

Responding to a call about suspicious activity, police officers arrived at the scene where they heard gunshots. Investigations revealed that Montgomery was trying to break into the house by climbing a ladder to a window when the homeowner shot him. Montgomery was found inside the home with a gunshot wound.

The Frisco Fire Department transported Montgomery to a local hospital for his injuries. He has been arrested and charged with Burglary of a Habitation, a second-degree felony.
