Bradenton Teen And Friend Shoot At Stepdad After Altercation

BRADENTON, FLORIDA — Two teenagers have been arrested and charged by the Bradenton Police Department following a shooting that occurred on Wednesday morning.

The victim, who was in the midst of a divorce with the mother of one of the suspects, was confronted by the suspects, Rodney Dunbar, aged 18, and a 15-year-old companion, outside his residence on 10th Ave. W.

Although both suspects fired shots at the victim, he was not harmed, and police were alerted to the incident through a 911 call at 9:20 a.m.

The suspects were later located and apprehended by law enforcement at 11 a.m. Both individuals have been charged with aggravated assault with a firearm. It is worth noting that Dunbar is the victim’s stepson.
