HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS — A son was shot and killed by his father after allegedly assaulting his mother.
Shots were reported at around 2 a.m early morning on Monday, August 29, 2022.
Authorities received a call from a 75-year-old man, who had shot his 24-year-old son. The father told authorities that he was woken up by his wife being assaulted by their own son. The son allegedly struck his mother in the head with a liquor bottle before approaching his father, and at that time the father shot his son in defense.
When the police arrived they found the 24-year-old son shot in the chest, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
The mother was taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for her injuries.
