SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS – An alleged intruder was shot and killed by a homeowner in the 200 block of Hazel Street. The incident occurred around 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov 12.

Authorities say that the homeowner, a man in his early 20’s, heard someone messing with the back window. Upon investigating the noise, he saw an intruder enter through the back door. The homeowner shot twice at the suspect, hitting him both times in the torso.

Upon arrival, police say they found the man with two gunshots wounds to his chest and began CPR. EMS arrived and took over administering CPR. In spite of life saving techniques, the man died at the scene.

Police say it’s possible the homeowner and the alleged intruder could be related. They also say there is no threat to the public. Several adults and a few small children were inside the home at the time of the incident, according to SAPD.
