Suspect Shot After Kicking In Front Door, Assaulting Woman, Looking For Guns

Published

FORT WORTH, TEXAS — Police say a suspect, who was likely breaking into a residence in search of guns, was shot by someone inside the home after he kicked in the front door and assaulted a woman inside.

The son of the woman who was assaulted is the person police say shot the suspect.

Wounded, the suspect fled and has not yet been found by police.

There seems to be an indication that the suspect was there for guns, likely knowing that guns were at the specific location. With that, it’s a good time to remind you to keep your business to yourself. You never know who is lurking around, who is friends with who, and what people are looking at your social media accounts.

If you post a lot of gun photos, etc., it’s best to slow that practice. Letting people know what you have is never a good idea.

But if someone is coming for your guns, supposedly like this suspect, have at least one ready to be implemented in a self-defense capacity.
