Argument About Coronavirus Leads To Shooting In Michigan

ANN ARBOR, MICHIGAN — An argument over restrictions caused by the coronavirus response is what led to a possible self-defensive shooting after the two roomates got into the heated argument.

An Ann Arbor man shot and killed his roommate Thursday night after an argument about COVID-19 restrictions, according to information posted on a neighborhood social media site.

According to the letter, the shooting occurred after the deceased came at his roommate with a crowbar. The shooter then called police. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are calling it a death investigation while they try to sort out the details. Whether or not the shooting happened in self-defense could take some time to determine.
