PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA — A man attempted a robbery at a Wendy’s in Philadelphia’s Lawncrest area on Adams Avenue around 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As he entered through the drive-thru window, brandishing a metal object, the alert staff quickly pushed him out.
The would-be robber fell, fleeing the scene on foot and losing a shoe in the process.
The police are currently investigating the incident.
