HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS — A robbery attempt at a Dollar Store ended fatally for the suspect after an employee shot him. The incident occurred Wednesday afternoon when the robber, wielding a weapon, demanded access to the store’s safe.

An employee responded by shooting the robber, who fled but soon crashed into a bus, succumbing to his injuries at a nearby hospital. The investigation revealed the weapon the suspect had was an airsoft pistol, and the vehicle involved was previously used in a recent robbery.

The case continues to be under investigation by local authorities.
