BREAKING: 3 Dead, 1 Injured In Shooting At UNLV, Suspect Killed By Police


UPDATE @ 8:24PM — The suspect, who has not been identified by police, is said to be a man in his 60s and applied recently at the school but was denied; sources (see below).

UPDATE @ 6:45PM — Police confirm that 3 people were killed and 1 person is in critical condition.

UPDATE @ 4:36PM — During a press conference, police confirmed that the suspect was shot and killed by police, and there is no longer any threat. The number of victims was not disclosed.

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA — Reports of a shooting at University of Nevada, Las Vegas began coming in around Noon local time, and a heavy police presence has been seen.

Initial information was received shortly after midday on Wednesday, following a notification by campus security about gunfire in the BEH building. Subsequently, there were further reports of gunshots in the Student Union area.

According to officials from Las Vegas, the individual responsible for the shooting has been found and is deceased.
