Owens’ body was discovered suffering from a bullet wound outside Lorincz’s apartment on June 2nd.

Sheriff Billy Woods issued a statement praising the investigative team for their diligence, subsequently expressing his trust in the legal process.

“Ms. Lorincz’s fate is now in the hands of the judicial system which I trust will deliver justice in due course,” Woods said.

Lorincz is facing a multitude of charges, including firearm manslaughter, culpable negligence, battery, and two instances of assault.

The deputies reported that Lorincz will not be able to attend her initial court appearance scheduled for Wednesday due to necessary medical examinations for jail accommodation.
