Not all self-defensive encounters are flawless. In fact, most come with an issue or two and are rarely perfect. There are other times that are far from perfect, but still effective, as we’ll see below.

While this ended well for the armed clerk, it could have easily gone in the wrong direction in a number of ways. This is where training, muscle memory, and understanding a firearm come into play, all of which should be worked on prior to ever needing the firearm for a bad situation.
