Woman Shoots And Kills Intruder While At Home With Her 3 Children

Published

SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS — A woman at home with her three kids Thursday night had to take matters into her own hands after a man attempted to enter the home.

Police say an intruder breaking into the laundry room is what alerted the woman, who immediately grabbed her gun. As soon as the intruder tried entering the main part of the house, she fired two shots.

The intruder died as a result of his injures and poor decision making.

No one else inside the home was injured.

The woman will not be facing any charges because of Texas laws that protect homeowners from unwanted visitors breaking into a home, which warrants the use of deadly force.
