Disturbing Video Shows Pregnant Woman Being Attacked, Her Toddler Drop-Kicked

Published

A video is circulating online that shows an Illinois mother, who is pregnant, being attacked by a group of people. Her toddler, crying nearby, is seen being drop-kicked by a young man who runs into view of the camera. After kicking the toddler, the man then draws his attention to the mother who is already receiving a brutal beatdown.

Some are saying that the young man didn’t mean to kick the child, but it sure looks like he had plenty of time to avoid the child.

We don’t know what led to this assault on the pregnant woman to begin with, but this isn’t the way to solve your problems.

The mom of the teenage boy defended his actions on Facebook, saying he didn’t intentionally hit the child.

“He didn’t try 2 kick that baby he tried 2 jump over the baby on to her and made a mistake…as y’all can see the baby ran from under the girl fighting while he was coming down,” said the unidentified mom. “My kid is not that type 2 kick a baby…accident [sic] happen.”

As an armed citizen who happened upon this incident, would you have done anything to try and intervene? Would an attack like this justify the drawing of a firearm?

What about the woman being attacked? If she had been legally armed, do you think that her use of a firearm would have been justified in this instance?
