Suspect Opens Fire At California High School On His Birthday, 2 Killed 4 Injured

The suspect, a 16 year old student, was taken into custody after being found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. He is currently being treated at a hospital under tight security.

Two students were killed and four others were injured.

Police day the teen pulled out a handgun on campus and opened fire on students before turning the gun on himself.

SANTA CLARITA, CALIFORNIA — Police are actively searching for a suspect responsible for shooting multiple people at a high school in California.

A report of a shooting at Saugus High School in Santa Clarita has prompted a massive police response and the lockdown of an entire school district on Thursday morning, authorities said.

Police have described the suspect as an Asian male wearing all black.

Schools in the area have been placed on lockdown as a precaution.
