Food Truck Comes Under Attack, Driver Handles Business With His Firearm, But Then Another Attack Begins

MIAMI, FLORIDA — A food truck found itself under attack by an armed robber, but that wasn’t the only thing that went down that day. When the driver realized that his wife was being robbed at gunpoint, he somehow managed to get a hold of his gun while he found himself at gunpoint as well.

The driver was able to get a shot off, hitting the suspect. When the suspect was trying to flee, he was tackled by a Good Samaritan who held him for police.

But things weren’t over yet…

Meanwhile, two people who were in a nearby car started firing at the food truck and the driver fired back, hitting one of them, police said. The people in the car drove to Jackson Memorial Hospital, where one of them was being treated and the other was being questioned, officials said.

It would later be revealed that the two people inside the car were in on the robbery attempt, and now all three face charges for their failed attempt.

This story is one that shows how important it is to be in the fight even after you think the fight is over. I’m sure that once the driver shot the suspect, a part of him felt that the threat had been eliminated. Then, out of nowhere, they come under fire from two other people at a different location. That’s scary, to say the least.

Be mindful of what is happening around you, and make sure you get yourself to safety as soon as you possibly can.
