Baltimore Resident Shoots And Kills 20-Year-Old Home Intruder

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND — An armed resident shot and killed someone who broke into his home, according to police.

It happened in the early morning hours of September 9th, when a 20-year-old man broke into a home on Marx Avenue.

A resident, who was armed, confronted the intruder and fired a shot.

The intruder was pronounced dead at the scene.

Homicide detectives are investigating, as they do with any case such as this. It looks like a case of self-defense, and the resident is not likely to face any charges as a result.
