Yesterday, we brought you a story of a man who’s pocket carry firearm went off in his pants. The result? Four injured people. One guest’s head was grazed by the bullet itself, and another three other guests were struck in their legs by flying marble, tile and glass from the ricocheting bullet, authorities said.
What we’ve learned today is this: It’s not the first time this man has had a negligent discharge. The 42-year-old, Vladimir Gotlibovsky, shot himself on Christmas Eve 2014, yet he still had a license to carry the 9-mm Ruger, the sources said.
One thing is certain; this guy must have some serious connections in NYC to not only be able to carry a firearm in the first place, but to still be able to carry a firearm after having a negligent discharge.
Not only that, he’s been charged multiple times in the past, once for illegal use of a firearms license in Midtown in 1996 and also resisting arrest in 1990.
Don’t you think it’s time for him to retire from concealed carry? Hell, firearm ownership all together?
We haven’t even touched on the fact that after this latest negligent discharge, he handed the firearm off to a relative so that they could hide it.

Moving down this same path, Gotlibovsky is likely to earn himself a Darwin Award.
