I’d never want to be in a situation where I may have to shoot someone. In fact, not many people would, and that goes for police officers as well. The video below shows just how tough the job can be, and when every chance is given for the bad guy to surrender, sometimes there aren’t any other options.
From an armed citizen standpoint, the call that got the officers to the location was an armed robbery call, and I’ll assume that the victim was not armed themselves. Had they been, and were able to successfully defend themselves, this guy may have not been as lucky as he was with his encounter with police.
