KERSHAW COUNTY, SOUTH CAROLINA — A Pro Wrestling Hall of Famer apprehended an intruder at his South Carolina residence, according to reports.
Jim Duggan, known professionally as “Hacksaw” and a WWE Wrestling Hall of Fame inductee, related the incident to wrestling news entity Wrestling Inc. The incident occurred at Duggan’s home on Dec. 8, according to the New York Post. Duggan stated that a man entered his residence in Kershaw County.
Duggan restrained the man and held him at gunpoint until responding deputies arrived.
Duggan stated that the man believed others outside the residence were trying to kill him. Duggan related hearing others outside his residence during the encounter and having to instruct the intruder to be quiet.
Duggan indicated no one was injured in the encounter and expressed his appreciation to the Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office for their response and to his fans for their well-wishes.
