State Fair of Texas Evacuated After Shooting, 3 Injured, 1 Suspect In Custody

UPDATE @ 11:21PM EST: Reported video of the suspect being taken into custody is making the rounds. Police say one person is in custody and three were injured.

UPDATE @ 10:54PM EST: According to the official State Fair of Texas website, concealed carry license holders are permitted to carry at the fair. In part, they say “A person holding a valid Texas License to Carry a Handgun (LTC), or a valid handgun license from a reciprocating state, is permitted to enter the Fair with his or her concealed handgun, provided that he or she thereafter fully complies with all applicable laws.”

UPDATE @ 10:49PM EST: Dallas Councilman Adam Bazaldua took to X to say that the incident was “a conflict between two people who knew each other.”

Fox 4 News confirmed that 3 people were injured in the shooting.
