Man Arrested After Pointing Gun At 6-Year-Old’s Head After He Delivered Candy To Wrong Home

LONG ISLAND, NEW YORK — A man from Long Island has been accused of pointing a gun at a 6-year-old boy who accidentally left candy at his doorstep. The incident occurred in Manhasset when the boy and his sister, thinking they were at a friend’s house, left candy on the porch of 43-year-old Michael Wen.

Upon realizing the mistake, the children’s mother returned around to retrieve the candy. That’s when Wen reportedly confronted the boy with a gun and used profanity after the boy went back to the porch to get the candy.

Wen faces charges of menacing and endangering a child’s welfare. His attorney information is not available, and he is scheduled for a court appearance in November.
