Texas Homeowner Fatally Shoots Suspected Burglar In Self-Defense

JARRELL, TEXAS — According to a press release from the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office, a homeowner in Jarrell, Texas, shot and killed a suspected burglar who had forcefully entered the residence.

The deceased suspect has been identified as Juan Sanchez Palafox, 29 years old.

Deputies from the WCSO responded to a call at the home on County Road 239 at approximately 12 a.m. Thursday.

The WCSO is conducting an ongoing investigation and encourages anyone with information about the incident to contact them at (512)-943-1300.
