BREAKING: Charges Against Alec Baldwin Dropped In Fatal Shooting Of Halyna Hutchins

Published

Alec Baldwin’s legal team says that the criminal charges against him in the fatal shooting of “Rust” cinematographer Halyna Hutchins in October 2021 are expected to be dropped. In a statement, Baldwin’s attorneys, Luke Nikas and Alex Spiro, expressed their satisfaction with the decision and called for a proper investigation into the tragic incident.

Baldwin, who had been holding a gun during a rehearsal scene, accidentally fired it, resulting in the death of Hutchins and the injury of director Joel Souza. His lawyers said that the two counts of involuntary manslaughter against him will be dismissed.

Meanwhile, “Rust” has resumed filming in Montana, almost a year and a half after production was halted due to Hutchins’ on-set death. However, the production company, Rust Movie Productions, has pledged to use only non-working weapons and prohibit the use of any form of ammunition. According to Melina Spadone, an attorney for the production company, live ammunition was always banned from the set.
