Shooting In Albuquerque Neighborhood Possible Case Of Self-Defense

ALBUQUERQUE, NEW MEXICO — A shooting in an Albuquerque neighborhood that left a man dead may have been an act of self-defense.

The shooting occurred Wednesday, December 21st at around 10:24 a.m., according to KRQE.

The incident occurred in the 1400 block of 3rd Street.

Police responded to a reported shooting at that location and located three persons who had all been shot in an apparent gunfire exchange between two of the people involved.

All three were taken to the hospital. One was later pronounced dead, while another person remains hospitalized. The third victim was treated and later released. An investigation was pending as or KRQE’s report.
