Surveillance Video Helps Family Make Wise Decisions During Catalytic Converter Theft

Published

A family watched their home surveillance video when it alerted them of people outside in their driveway. Upon inspection, one suspect was under the vehicle and another was holding a gun and pointing it at the front door of the home.

The people inside the home, thankfully, decided to stay where they were and called police, avoiding a potentially fatal encounter for themselves.

This is a scenario that comes up over and over again; should you go outside to protect and defend your property? My answer is no, especially if you’re safe where you are. If you do take that chance, and of course the bad guys are taking a chance as well, you may end up losing your life over something that can be replaced.

And it’s really that simple.
