Phoenix Homeowner Shoots And Kills 2 Men Trying To Break In

Published

PHOENIX, ARIZONA — Two men in their 20’s are dead after police say they were shot and killed by a homeowner after they tried breaking into the home. The incident happened just before 8 a.m. on Saturday morning, and police received multiple 911 calls. When they arrived, they found two men outside the home with gunshot wounds.

“Witnesses told the officers the shooter was inside the home next to where the men were lying,” Sgt. Philip Krynsky told FOX 10 Phoenix.

“The officers were able to successfully carry the men to await paramedics. The officers were able to communicate with the three occupants of the home and they were detained peacefully.”

The men were taken to the hospital but died from their injuries.

The homeowner who fired the shots was interviewed and was cooperating with police. The case will be sent to the DA’s office for review, but no charges are expected, as this seems to be a clear-cut case of self-defense.
