Concealed Carrier Shoots Man Who Was Stabbing Woman At Convenience Store

WACO, TEXAS — An armed bystander shot a man who police say had chased a woman into a convenience store and stabbed her. It happened Friday night at 7:40 p.m. at the QuikTrip at 2350 S. New Road, ultimately sending the victim and suspect to the hospital for their injuries.

The victim suffered stab wounds, while the suspect suffered a gunshot wound as a result of the armed bystander. Both are said to have severe injuries.

The armed bystander remained at the scene and was cooperating with police.

Without a doubt, this armed citizen stopped a brutal attack from becoming worse than it was, and we can only hope that the victim is able to make a speedy recovery.

One instance in which I’d likely get involved is exactly this. An active deadly threat to a third party. There are so many variables to count that it’d take a 100-part series, but this incident seems to have a lot of the aspects that would warrant an armed citizen involving themselves.
