Why We Carry: College Student Recovering After Being Attacked And Carjacked By 3 Men

PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA — A Temple University student narrowly escaped a carjacking near the campus in North Philadelphia early Sunday morning. The incident occurred around 12:30 a.m. on the 1500 block of Fontain Street.

Three men approached the student, and one physically restrained her against her car. She managed to break free, but the assailants fled in her red 2017 Subaru Impreza with New Jersey license plates.

The student sustained minor injuries but is anticipated to recover fully.
