NORTH PORT, FLORIDA — We’re off the beaten path a little bit, but earlier today we wrote on the story of missing 22-year-old Gabby Petito and a possible connection that police are looking into related to her disappearance and the murders of two campers in Moab, Utah last month. There is no evidence to suggest that the two incidents are related, but police are looking at every option available.
Now the main person of interest in Petito’s disappearance, her fiancé Brian Laundrie, is now missing. His attorney texted an update to a reporter while on live TV, confirming that the whereabouts of Laundrie were unknown. That video can be viewed below.
Police went to Laundrie’s home to speak with the family this evening, at their request.
The conversation at the Laundrie home is complete. Once we have the details, a statement will be made. We ask for calm! Please let us work through this and information will be forthcoming.@NorthPortPolice

Laundrie arrived back at his North Port home that he shares with his parents, in the converted van that the couple was using on their cross-country trip while documenting it on social media. However when he arrived back, Petito was not with him.
Laundrie was reportedly not speaking with officers who had questions as to Petito’s whereabouts, after her family reported her missing.
