As the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan continues, numerous explosions were confirmed today and have taken the lives of multiple people, including Americans. A “complex attack” took place at the Kabul airport and a local hotel, with multiple explosions reported.
It’s terrible to see what is unfolding before the world, and quickly reminds me of our freedoms that we have here in the US, and being in such a place where we don’t worry about attacks such as this, and have enough armed citizens to fight against any organization that looked to take over our Country.
Let us hope that we are able to get our troops and citizens to safety, and the Afghan citizens in danger are able to come out of this unharmed.
