Man Shoots Wife And Mother-In-Law Dead While Their 3 Children Are In The House, Turns Gun On Himself

TAMARAC, FLORIDA — Police say a husband shot his wife dead, along with his mother-in-law, before turning the gun on himself. It all happened while his three children were inside the home.

The Broward County Sheriff’s Office received a call about a shooting early Saturday. Once deputies arrived at the home in Tamarac, they were able to help the children, ages 4, 8 and 11, out of the house through a bedroom window, according to a sheriff’s office news release.

A SWAT team entering the house found Clody Sylverne and a woman dead. Another woman with severe injuries was also found at the house but she was pronounced dead at a hospital, the sheriff’s office said.

The motive for the murder-suicide wasn’t immediately available, and the suspect shows a seemingly normal life on social media. We all know that postings on social media can be deceiving, and we can never truly know what’s going on inside a home unless we’re a part of it.

If the suspect had a history of violence or any similar actions, leaving a scenario like that isn’t always an easy thing to do. Some victims of domestic abuse will suffer through the ordeal, some will buy tools to defend themselves if things get bad. I’m not saying that domestic abuse took place prior to this terrible shooting, but its something to consider.

Sure, some people just snap, but the majority of the time we are shown signs and red flags that need to be picked up on.

These poor children will now grow up without their parents, and for what?
