[GRAPHIC WARNING] CA Officer Charged In Shooting Death Of Shoplifter With Bat

Published

The job of an officer is a tough one, even more so nowadays. Decisions need to be made quickly, and sometimes those decisions are difficult.

Back in April, a few officers in California were responding to a Walmart after receiving a call of a shoplifter with a bat. He didn’t comply with police orders to drop the bat, and a taser wasn’t effective in stopping the threat. An officer fired a single shot, which proved to be deadly.

That officer is now facing charges of voluntary manslaughter as a result.

Take a look at the video, and make a determination yourself, based on what we know. Do you think that the charges are justified? Do you feel that the officer will be found guilty? Chime in below.
