A video uploaded to Facebook by Chyna Smith, seems to show Jacob Blake as police are trying to detain him. A struggle continues until he breaks free, and that’s the moment where he walks around to the driver’s door of his vehicle.
It’s not easy to make out what is going on, but does show that a struggle between Blake and police was happening prior to the shooting.
There is debate as to whether or not Blake had a knife in his hand, and of course of how police reacted to the situation.
More information is expected to be released in the coming weeks, and will give a clearer picture of what happened.
Blake is currently in stable condition, but his father told reporters that he is paralyzed from the waist down.
