Chicago Concealed Carrier Returns Fire After Armed Thug Shoots First

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS — A concealed carry permit holder, aged 24, was in his parked vehicle on the side of the road when an armed criminal came up to his window. The criminal pulled out a gun and started firing, striking the armed citizen in the shoulder.

The armed citizen then returned fire, shooting the also-24-year-old attacker in the torso.

Both were sent to the same hospital for treatment, but only one will be going home after receiving said treatment.

Police are still investigating the incident, and haven’t provided any motive behind the seemingly random attack.

Was it an attempted robbery? Attempted carjacking? Revenge? Your guess is as good as ours, but we do know that guns save lives. Had this man not been armed himself, he could have seen much more lead come his way and ultimately lead to his early death.
