A vehicle pulled up while people were dining outside. Multiple men jumped out and started firing. Witnesses say 20 to 30 shots were fired, with the man mentioned above being the target.

Four other people, simply enjoying some food, were also shot.

Its become a scene that many in Chicago have become used to. It’s a part of life, and criminals do as they please in a city with some of the worst crime rates in the country.

“I won’t lie to you, it’s kind of normal for me. But for it to hit home, you know, it’s always that much worse. Of course I’m affected by it, yeah,” said Trevaugh Roberson, one of the victim’s cousin. “For me, personally, this goes on all day, everyday. Everybody knows this already. I just hope for better days.”

Police hhave not identified any suspects.

We live in a time where more and more citizens are carrying firearms in an effort to defend themselves against the everyday violent crimes that we cover.

With that, we’ll have a safer place to live, and the bad guys will get the idea that many are refusing to be victims.
