First off, don’t leave the scene if you’re ever involved in a self-defense shooting. That’s what happened here and while things can be different in other countries, it’s not a wise decision to leave in the US.
With that said, this armed citizen acted quickly and even noticed the trouble before the actual trouble went down.
Seconds prior to the attempted robbery, the guy is leaning up against his car and is already reaching for his firearm that he’s carrying in the appendix position.
Before the two robbers even realize he’s there and what he’s up to, he starts firing shots on the closest robber, and then landing shots on the second.
The first robber lands on the ground next to the car and will not survive. The second was also hit, and was able to get away. He didn’t get far, and ended up at the hospital for treatment and to be arrested.
This is a reminder of keeping that head moving and paying attention to what is going on around you. Had that attention not been there for the armed citizen, this story would have ended differently.
