Tennessee Makes Push For Campus Carry With New Proposed Bill

Published

NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE — A new bill is hoping to make it’s way through the ropes that would allow college students in Tennessee to carry concealed on campus.

HB 2102 is sponsored by Rep. Rush Bricken (R-Tullahoma) and would allow registered students of public institutions, who possess a valid permit, to carry a concealed firearm while on campus.

Still in it’s early stages, it may take some time for this bill to make it’s way to the finish line, but we have strong hopes as more states adopt similar bills.
