New estimates of Americans who carry concealed is up to 10 Million

Roughly 20 years ago, the number of Americans who carried a concealed firearm was less than 1 Million. Fast forward to today and you’ll find a much higher number; in the vicinity of 8-11 Million. That comes out to about 3% of the US population.

With Illinois joining the rest of the country to allow concealed carry, the topic and debate is hotter than ever. We are now seeing a heated debate to allow carry on college campuses across the country, at the post office, and an attempt to banish gun free zones altogether.

One thing is certain, and that is the indisputable fact that citizens are actively protecting themselves and their families.
