BUNNELL, FLORIDA — In Flagler County, a man named Esaiah Glenn, 24, was arrested for reportedly aiming a gun at a Lyft driver’s head and attempting to fire it. The driver, who was unharmed after the gun failed to discharge, found and informed a Flagler County Sheriff’s Office sergeant about the ordeal.
Glenn had allegedly asked the driver to shoot him.
Police swiftly initiated a search and identified Glenn as the potential offender. Prior to this event, Glenn had threatened hospital staff, leading to a temporary lockdown of the facility. He was later detained at a hotel where he admitted his intentions with the Lyft driver, expressing he wished the driver had retaliated.
Glenn faces charges of aggravated assault with a firearm and, after a medical evaluation, was incarcerated without the option of bond.
