Armed Man Shoots And Kills Dog After Witnessing Attack

FORT WORTH, TEXAS — In south Fort Worth early Wednesday, police were called to South Creek Drive around 1 a.m. following reports of a dog attack. Witnesses reported that three dogs had bitten a person and were attempting to attack others.

An individual witnessing the incident shot and killed one of the dogs. The shooter subsequently contacted the authorities and cooperated with the investigation. Police confirmed that the individual who shot the dog is not anticipated to face charges.

However, there has been no further information regarding the remaining dogs or their owners.
