Armed Robber Shot And Killed On Last Robbery Attempt At Pizza Shop

PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA — An armed robbery attempt at George’s Pizza in Philadelphia’s Frankford area ended with one assailant dead. Two armed individuals stormed into the pizza shop on Oxford Avenue at around 8 p.m. Saturday.

During the event, one robber was fatally shot multiple times and died by 8:30 p.m. The second robber escaped on foot.

Authorities found two firearms at the site, and no bystanders were harmed.
