SARASOTA, FLORIDA — Deputies in Sarasota County successfully intervened in suspected illicit activities at a scheduled party on Siesta Key beach on September 16. The authorities received information suggesting the presence of drugs and firearms among the attendees. Subsequent to a high-visibility patrol, two juveniles and two adults were apprehended.
Herbert Fields was subjected to a search that revealed two firearms, with one confirmed as stolen. Fields faces several charges including grand theft of a firearm, concealing a firearm, possessing marijuana, and underage alcohol possession.
The other three individuals arrested are also facing multiple charges.
