2 People Shot At Entertainment Center In Illinois After Verbal Dispute

ROMEOVILLE, ILLINOIS — Law enforcement in Romeoville, a suburb of Rome, is on the hunt for a suspect responsible for shooting two individuals at the Scene75 Entertainment Center on Friday evening. The shooting occurred prior to 9 p.m. at the entertainment complex on 460 S. Weber Rd. The victims were rushed to local hospitals, though their conditions remain undisclosed. The events leading up to the incident remain under investigation.

Residents were urged to steer clear of the area as officers undertook crime scene processing on Friday night. Romeoville officials stated via a Facebook post around 9:45 p.m. that police were still in the early stages of identifying the shooter.

The police department has requested anyone with information to contact them at 815-886-2141. Social media posts depicted an influx of emergency responders at the site, including police, firefighters, and ambulances. Scene75, a 135,000 square-foot amusement center, boasts 14 attractions such as go-karts, roller coasters, and a drop tower.
