The Atlanta police have confirmed that the suspect in the midtown shooting, which left one person dead and five others injured, has been arrested. The suspect, identified as Deion Patterson, was apprehended just before 8 p.m. in the pool area of an apartment complex on Killarney Drive in Cobb County.
Cobb County police have also confirmed the arrest and will hold a joint news conference with the Atlanta police and Atlanta mayor Andre Dickens. Further details about the arrest and the investigation are expected to be released during the news conference.
