BIMBLE, KENTUCKY — At around 7:41 pm Saturday night, Knox County authorities were alerted to a shooting in the Bimble community on Higgins Hollow Road. Responding were Knox County Deputies and EMS.
Investigations revealed that a man trying to forcefully enter a home was shot by someone inside. The injured man received non-critical wounds and was airlifted to a hospital for care.
The investigation is still active, and details will be shared upon completion. So far, no arrests have been made. Kentucky State Police troopers also provided assistance at the scene.
