No Charges To Be Filed For Apparent Self-Defense Shooting

GARDEN CITY, KANSAS — In a recent fatal shooting in Garden City, authorities have determined that no arrests will be made, according to KAKE.

The incident occurred on March 6 in the 2600 block of N. 3rd, where a man from Garden City died following an argument with family members.

The Garden City Police Department and the Finney County Attorney have concluded that there is probable cause to believe the suspect acted in self-defense. As a result, no charges will be filed.
