Biden Begins Assault On 2nd Amendment, Calling On Congress To Pass Legislation

“This Administration will not wait for the next mass shooting to heed that call. We will take action to end our epidemic of gun violence and make our schools and communities safer,” Biden said in a statement posted over the weekend on the anniversary of the Parkland school shooting.

President Biden has many plans for gun control, and it’s being officially kicked off with this statement.

Biden called on Congress to enact background checks on all gun sales, eliminate immunity for gun manufacturers and to ban assault weapons and high-capacity magazines. The suspect in the Parkland mass shooting, a former student named [REDACTED], opened fire on the school campus with an AR-15 rifle.

The firearms community, although larger than ever in the wake of a summer filled with riots and a pandemic that’s been going for nearly a year, is in for a turbulent few years under a Biden presidency. This, coupled with a Democrat-controlled house and senate, is a scary scenario for 2nd Amendment-loving Americans.
