Concealed Carry Permit Holder Found Asleep With Gun In Her Lap and Meth In The Car

BROOKSVILLE, FLORIDA — In central Florida, a woman was discovered sleeping in her car at a Brooksville 7-Eleven gas pump, clutching a firearm.

The vehicle had been idle for over 45 minutes, prompting the store clerk to alert the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office, according to WPEC.

Upon arrival, deputies found 30-year-old Nicole Pellikan asleep with a gun in her lap and two glass pipes nearby, typically associated with drug use.

After safely removing Pellikan from the vehicle, a search revealed a bag containing 20 grams of a crystal substance in her backpack, later confirmed as methamphetamine through field testing.

Oddly enough, Pellikan had a valid concealed weapons permit. Authorities did not disclose whether the firearm was loaded.

She now faces charges for methamphetamine possession and drug equipment. After being booked at the Hernando County Detention Center, Pellikan was released on a $16,000 bond.
